mwawAmmurapi (XIII secolo a.C. – XII secolo a.C.) è stato un sovrano siriaco.

Fu l'ultimo sovrano dell'mwbgetà del Bronzo e re dell'antica città mwbwsiriaca di mwcaUgarit, dal 1215 circa al 1180 a.C., succedendo a mwcgNiqmaddu III. Ammurapi fu coevo del mwcwre ittita mwdaŠuppiluliuma II. Scrisse una vivida lettera (RS 18.147) in risposta a una richiesta di assistenza da parte del re di mwdqAlashiya che è stata conservata.cite-ref-1[1] In essa viene descritta la drammatica situazione di Ugarit mentre era sotto attacco da parte dei mwegPopoli del Mare.

Ammurapi scriveva:

«Attento padre mio, le navi nemiche sono arrivate (qui); le mie città(?) sono state incendiate, ed essi hanno perpetrato cose inenarrabili al mio paese. Non sa mio padre che tutte le mie truppe e i miei carri(?) si trovano nella Terra di Hatti, e tutte le mie navi sono nella Terra di Lukka?...Così, il mio paese è abbandonato a se stesso. Mio padre deve saperlo: le sette navi del nemico che sono arrivate qui hanno inflitto molto danno a noi.»

Ugarit sarebbe stato uno dei tanti stati del mwggVicino Oriente antico distrutti o abbandonati durante l'età del Bronzo.
